Born and raised in Radlbrunn, Austria, Hans knew at a young age that he wanted a career in fine dining. With his classical training in Vienna and extensive work experience throughout Europe, Canada and the United States. Chef Hans maintains the high standards of quality that have been at the heart of Cafe Mozart since its opening in 1977.
Chef Löschl’s experience includes the position of Executive Chef of Umberto’s al Porto, a popular Italian restaurant in Vancouver BC, named “The Best Restaurant in Vancouver” under his guidance.
He served as the Fine Dining Room Chef for the Westin Maui, where he was instrumental in developing the new hotel/restaurant into five-star recognition, then joined the Westin St Francis in San Francisco as Executive Sous Chef.
Locally, he served as the Executive Chef at The Cellar in Fullerton, Le Biarritz in Newport Beach, Santa Ana Country Club, and the Westin South Coast Plaza. Since 2004, chef Hans has shared his experience as a fine dining chef and restaurateur with his guests at Café Mozart. His talent and expertise will guarantee the success of your dinner parties, banquets and special events.
